Multimedia has, undoubtedly, revolutionized the process of imparting education in schools & colleges. The use of multimedia makes the entire learning & teaching process interactive, exciting, fun-filled & truly entertaining! Audio files allow students to properly learn & analyze the different pronunciation styles, intonation, accent etc. Video files are generally used for teaching lip moments to students. Flash files are primarily used to teach situational English to students. The language Lab supports different multimedia file formats such as AVI, MPG, MP3, PDF, Doc, PPT, Txt, Flash etc.
Teacher Console
The Teacher Console is a vital part of the LearnSOFT Language Lab Software. The teacher console effortlessly controls the entire network using different types of tools. The learning materials are stored on the teacher’s interface and transferred to the personal computer systems of students as and when required. The teacher can easily track, control, interact and send assignments to a single learner or a group of students. The Teacher Console is equipped with different control functions that help to consistently track the activities & to assess the performance of students. Moreover, the teacher can offer a live lecture to students, make announcements, create the lessons, add/modify existing batches/contents/session timings, engage in text/audio chat with students, divide the students in to various groups and co-ordinate the group discussions.

Each student is assigned a user id for logging in to the Teacher Console. When the learner/student logs on to the Language Lab, he can quickly access the pre-recorded lessons from the teacher console. The student can can create documents, listen to the audio segments of the native speaker, learn correct pronunciations, watch video clippings & study the learning content. The student console also enables learners to play the original audio tracks & to record their own voice simultaneously with it. The combined track could be repeatedly played later for the purpose of comparing. It can then be saved in student PC. It could later be accessed or presented to the teacher as assignment. The student console is integrated with numerous cutting-edge features such as text or audio chat options, built-in dictionary, assignment submission option & so on.

The Administrator has the sole privilege to create a new Student, Class, and Teacher. Subject, Questions & various other exam Details. Students can log in to their PCs using the information provided by the teacher/administrator.
The Online examination system allows the teacher to efficiently create and manage questions for each of the subjects. He can conduct examinations by selecting a particular question paper that is suitable for his students. The teacher can also create new question papers for students. After the examination, each student can take the printout of his/her answer sheet, view & verify it & also acquire the examination results.
