Basic & advanced digital recorders enable speedy language learning & creates a stimulating learning environment. The teacher can record lessons with video his own voice. Lessons can be recorded and saved. It can also be transferred to the students. The learning material for a whole academic year can be recorded and saved.
Remote Desktop Access/Screen Capture Facility
With the Remote Desktop Control facility, you can view the screen of another computer (via the Internet or local area network) on your own PC. This is an extremely utilitarian program that allows your mouse and keyboard to remotely control another computer. The Remote Desktop Access facility integrated in the language lab software enables the teacher to consistently monitor all the students in the class. The teacher can capture a specific student's screen and view it on his console. The file can be saved as a bit map image for future reference.
Audio & Video Broadcasting
The LearnSOFT Language Lab is integrated with a file transfer system that allows the teacher to send learning content to each of the students on the basis of their academic progress. The teacher can prepare the course content in both audio and video formats. He, then, allots and transfers the courseware for different classes and batches of students. The student can also send his/her work to the instructor for assessment. Files up to a size of 2GB can be broadcasted. Different types of lesson files such as MP3, MPG, AVI, txt etc can be transferred over the network.

The language lab enables interactive communication between the teacher & student via voice chat & Text chat.
Voice Chat
In LearnSOFT Language Lab, full-duplex voice chat algorithms initiate two-way direct communication between the student & the teacher. The language lab is equipped with Advanced Voice Chat Control that constantly ensures greater voice fidelity and excellent sound clarity.
Text Chat
The LearnSOFT language lab is incorporated with a highly flexible direct chat option. With the help of this facility, the teacher can chat/converse directly with a student at a time. The buzzer system helps to capture the attention of the student when the teacher wants to notify the student of an important event.
Lesson Comparing
Lesson comparing is an outstanding feature of the LearnSOFT Language Lab. The voice of a native speaker is used as a model voice, which could be listened to & repeated by the student. In the process of Lesson Comparing, you can record your own voice & compare it with the model voice of the teacher/instructor Besides the voice of the teacher (a native speaker or otherwise), the language lab provides students various types of model voices.
First of all, the student must open a specific audio file, which will be used as reference. track. For lesson comparing, the voice from the student will be recorded & played simultaneously with the reference track. The students can make a self-assessment of their pronunciation skills, identify the problem areas & rectify it as necessary.
